Pino Traina – 71, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Sunday February 7th 2016. Born in San Giovanni Gemini, Sicily; Pino immigrated to Bayonne in 1966 and became active with Assumption Church, UNICO, Sons of Italy and The Sicilian Citizens Club, of which he was a past president. Pino retired from General Motors and worked as a freelance barber. He was the devoted husband to Maria (nee: Valanzola) and loving father to Angelo. Surviving Pino are his siblings Nina Scibetta (Salvatore), Maria Manetta (Salvatore), Carmelo Traina (Sarina), Rose Traina, Salvatore Traina (Joanne), Rita MacCloud (Jim) and Frank Traina (Sheri), as well as his cousin Piero Filippone (Linetta), dearest friend Teresa Tinnirello and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be today, Tuesday February 9th from 4-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne . A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 10th beginning at 10:30 am at St. Andrew's Church, 125 Broadway (at 4th St.) in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
