Rafael (Raffy) Albano of Jersey City, NJ passed away on January 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength and devotion to family and friends. He will be remembered for the care he showed to those around him and the steady presence he brought to the lives of the people who knew him best.

Rafael attained his college degree then worked as a senior accountant in the Philippines and USA. He found joy in life's simple moments especially fishing and gardening. He took pride in what he could provide with his own hands, often using the foods he grew in the backyard and the fish he caught to cook warm, comforting meals for the family. Those shared meals made with patience, care, and love became some of the most meaningful memories for the people closest to him.

His family will carry forward his memory through the stories they share, the values he lived by, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn of 47 years. Loving father to Elaine & son-in-law, Marc. Grandfather to Maddoxx, Eve, Elisha, Elina and Marcus. He leaves behind his siblings, Josephine, Esperanza, Antonio, Heidee, Susan; also sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other relatives. He is predeceased by his father, Narciso; mother, Soterania & brother, Gil.

Though words can't fully capture the loss, Rafael's life will be honored in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

There will be a visitation held for Raffy on Friday January 9th from 4-8pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45am on Saturday January 10th at St. Henry's Church, 82 W. 29th Street, Bayonne, NJ 07002, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30am.  A private cremation will follow.
