Raffaelina Filippone

Raffaelina Filippone (Cacciapuoti) of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Friday July 17, 2026, at the Bayonne Medical Center. She was born on November 19th, 1958 in Quarto, Italy. Her family soon moved to France where she was raised and met her future husband, Pietro Filippone. They were married in France, then moved to Bayonne, NJ in 1980.

Raffaelina worked several jobs over the years, including as a cook/deli clerk at Farm Boys Market on Broadway and clerk/photo developer at Family Photo. Her favorite job by far was that of mother and Nona (grandmother).

Raffaelina remained the beloved wife to Pietro Filippone through 46 years of marriage. She is also survived by her loving daughter, Letizia Vinc and her husband, George; her cherished grandchildren, George J. Vinc III and Alexander P. Vinc, whom she loved dearly; her brothers, Salvatore, Fabrice, and Angelo; and her sisters, Rita, Maria, and Anna. She was predeceased by her parents Guiseppe and Angelina (nee:Accampora) Cacciapuoti and her brother, Tony.

Raffaelina will be remembered for her love of family and the warmth she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 21st from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday July 22nd at 10:45 am at St. Henry’s Church, Bayonne. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9:45am prior to mass. Cremation to follow will be Private.
