Ramon Cortinas – of Bayonne passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday January 26th 2016, he was 72 years old. Born in Havana Cuba and an accountant by trade, Ramon loved classical music and baseball, especially The NY Yankees. He also loved his wife of many years Raquel Requeny whom he leaves behind. Ramon was also the beloved father to Roberto Cortinas and his wife Natasha and Ruth Cortinas and her husband Armando Ramos. Ramon was also the loving grandfather to David, Raul and Roberto Cortinas Jr. and to Leonardo Bravo. Also surviving Ramon are his sister Ana Cortinas and her husband Ramon Lopez and their son Daniel Lopez and his wife Ianne as well as a host of other loving family members and friends both here and in Cuba. Visitation will be Saturday January 30th from 5-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne with a prayer service to be held at approximately 6pm. A private cremation will follow.

Nacido en La Habana Cuba y un contador de profesión, Ramón amaba la música clásica y el béisbol , especialmente de los Yankees de Nueva York. También amaba a su esposa de muchos años Raquel Requeny quien deja tras de sí . Ramón era también el padre amado de Roberto Cortinas y su esposa Natasha y Ruth Cortinas y su esposo Armando Ramos . Ramón también fue el abuelo amoroso de David , Raúl, Roberto Cortinas Jr. y Leonardo Bravo . También sobreviviendo Ramón están a su hermana Ana Cortinas y su esposo Ramón López y su hijo Daniel López y su esposa Ianne , así como una serie de otros miembros de la familia y amigos tanto aquí como en Cuba . Visitación será el sábado 30 de enero de 5-8 pm en la funeraria Migliaccio , 851 Kennedy Blvd. ( en la calle 33 ) en Bayonne con un servicio de oración que tendrá lugar aproximadamente a las 6pm. Al funeral le seguira un servicio de cremacion privado.
