CALVO, Raymond S., 75, lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 3rd at the Bayonne Medical Center. Raymond worked for Delta Airlines at Newark Liberty Airport, Newark, N.J. for many years before retiring. He worked tirelessly with the St. Joseph's Guild and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a beloved husband to Janet (nee: Parker), a loving father to Raymond J., and his wife Robyn and to Colleen (nee: Calvo) Hitchell and her husband Richard. A cherished grandfather to E.J. Calvo and Samantha Hitchell, and a step-grandfather to Alex Chan and Taylor Sukiennik. A dear brother to Joseph Calvo and Evangelina Lamela. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was a lifelong friend to Jim and Joan Pignataro. Raymond was predeceased by his parents Jose and Jean (nee:Battaglia) Calvo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 6th from 4:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A mass will be offered at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew's Church, Bayonne on Thursday July 7th at 9:30am with family and friends gathering at the funeral home beginning at 8:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Raymond's memory to St. Andrew's Food Pantry or to Food for the Poor Organization.
