Ongay, Raymond Jr. "Chiqui" - passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday February 21st, he was 79. A long time resident of Bayonne from Puerto Rico, Raymond was the devoted husband of Elia (nee: Fernandez) and the loving father of Jose R. and his wife Lourdes, Sandra Russo and her husband Gordon and Lisa Silletti and her husband Daniel. Raymond was also the beloved grandfather to Sofia, Joseph, Julian, Mia, Daniel Jr., David, Jacob, Michael and Alia. He is survived by his brother Mario and sisters Zaida Garrotte and her husband Angel and Carmen Aleman as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Raymond was pre-deceased by brothers Jose Louis, Emilio, Carlos and Roberto and by his sister in-law Raquel. A visitation will be held tomorrow, Friday February 24th from 2-4 PM and again from 7-9 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday February 25th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 326 Avenue C in Bayonne with a burial ceremony to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
