Richard F. Budka – a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Monday January 23 ^rd 2023, he was 89.  Richard served his country proudly as a US Marine during the Korean Conflict and was a package handler for UPS in Secaucus for many years before his retirement.  Richard had a deep love for animals and was an avid fan of the movies.  He was the devoted husband to Jo (nee: Romano) Budka, the beloved father to Richard P. Budka and his wife Louise Pona Budka, cherished grandfather to Richard, Connor & Alexandria Budka and dear brother-in-law of Philip Romano and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be Thursday January 26 ^th from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday January 27 ^th at Mt. Carmel Church in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite animal welfare organization.
