Richard E. Dobronsky Jr., 56, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022. Richard was born on June 30, 1965, to Rosemarie (Lore) Dobronsky and the late Richard E. Dobronsky Sr. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, he graduated from St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City in 1983 and went on to receive his degree in Finance from Jersey City State College in 1988. During his college years, he worked at Rock Bottom in Bayonne. He started his career on Wall Street as a Junior Trader at Dean Witter Reynolds and Smith Barney. He spent most of his career at Bear Stearns where his last position held was Managing Director OTC Trading.
Richard was passionate about music. He loved going to concerts and was a talented piano and guitar player, often finding a captive audience in his family and friends. He also enjoyed reading, watching movies, visiting museums, family beach trips, and cheering for the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to his father Richard Sr, Richard was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Brian Smith and his dearest aunt Michelina Crowley-Pirozzi. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Rosemarie, his devoted wife of 27 years Joyce (Benford) Dobronsky, and his two loving children Hannah and Matthew Dobronsky.
Richard is the beloved brother of Deborah Smith and Donna Ryan, brother-in-law of Bill Ryan. Loving cousin of Lynn (Crowley) Hallenbeck and husband John, and Joseph Crowley. Most cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and Godchildren. He will also be greatly missed by his adoring, loving, and loyal canine companions, Champ and Lucy.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Andrew's Church, Bayonne. NJ. Private cremation followed.
