Richard M. Kushnir - a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence with his loved ones by his side on Friday May 14th 2021, he was 63.  Richard worked as an engineer for the Bayonne Board of Education for many years and was an active member of the HCUA (Hudson County Umpires Association).  He was the devoted husband to Laura (nee Bellomo) Kushnir, the beloved father to Frank Kushnir and his wife Jenniffer and to Michael Kushnir, and the cherished grandfather to Braeburn & Gabriel Kushnir. Richard was pre-deceased by his parents Frank & Rose (nee: Pona) Kushnir and his father in-law Francesco Bellomo and surviving him are his brother John Kushnir and his wife Sharon, his mother-in-law Carmela Bellomo, his nephews Christopher Marc, J.R. & Daniel and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be held on Monday May 17th from 5-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd.(at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45AM on TuesdayMay 18th at St. Henry's Church, 82 W. 29th Street in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30AM.  Mausoleum entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests donations be made in Richard's memory to either St. Vincent's Food Pantry with envelopes provided at the funeral home OR to St. Jude's Children's Hospital with a link that can be found to the left of this page.
