Richard Sucato – of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Monday November 30 ^th 2020,Born on August 4,1932 in Chicago.Illinois. One of ten children of the late Salvatore and Felicia (Armogida) Sucato. He was 88. Richard served his country proudly in the US Army. He had been a teacher at Our Lady Of Assumption School, Our Lady Star of The Sea, and a teacher, guidance counselor and school principal for The Bayonne Board of Education for over 40 years before retiring. He was the devoted husband to Maria (nee: Novembrino) Sucato; the beloved father to James Sucato (Victoria), Phyllis Marks (Paul) and Sam Sucato (Maritza) and the cherished grandfather to Daniella & Andrew Sucato and to Felicia & John Marks. Richard was pre-deceased by his siblings James Sucato, Teresa Campo (Michael), Mary Montalbano (Charles), Margaret Vettese (Anthony), Elizabeth Reggi (Reo), Rose Agnello (Juliano), Anna Edmonds (Joe) and Angelina Bova (John) and surviving Richard is his brother Ronald Sucato (the late Mary) and a whole host of other loving family members and close friends. Visitation will be Sunday December 6th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremations Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday December 7th at 11AM at St. Vincent's Church in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. In lieu of flowers please donate in Richard's memory to The St. Vincent Parish Food Pantry with envelopes provided at the funeral home or mail directly to: ST.
