RITA LARINO BARAN - Mrs.Baran was born in Bayonne & was a lifelong resident. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 20th 2014, she was 80 years old. Rita was the Devoted Wife of the late Francis J. Baran(Frank) for 56 loving years. Cherished Mother of Frank M. Baran, a retired Port Auth.Cop & his wife Gale(Timmins) of Oceanport, Denise of Middletown & Lori Ann and her husband Eamonn Murray of Lincroft. Beloved Grandmother of James & Carly Protokowicz & Michael & Daniel Baran. Dearest Sister of John Larino & his belated wifeTheresa (Volenski) & his Fiancee, Marge Kearn of Whiting. Also Dear Sister of her two belated Brothers Joseph Larino & his belated wife Adele (Geigle) & Anthony (Tony) Larino & his wife Claudia (Bleach). Rita was the caring Daughter of the belated Manuel (de Simil) Larino & Filomena (Cinelli-Notarmaso). Loving Aunt of Arlene (Larino) & her belated husband Michael Zvinakis. There were also many Dear cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws & friends. After previous years of working at Vitro corp., Baker Castor Oil, Peter J. Frasse CO, Western Electric & Avco Financial Services as a stenographer & administrative secretary. Rita finally retired after 10 ten more years as a Medical Secretary for Anna V. Kopec, M.D. Mrs. Baran. was a parishioner of St. Henry RC Church & the Rosary Society for many Years and was also a previous parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption RC Church, where she was married, baptized & made her Communion & Confirmation,as did her first two children. Rita enjoyed dancing, singing, cooking & baking, but most of all she enjoyed spending many happy years with her belated husband, children, grandchildren, relatives & friends. Rita will be mostly remembered for being a kind, caring Wife, Daughter, Mom & Grandma(Grubby). She loved her family more than her life.She always prayed for her relatives & friends when they were sick and she was friendly to everyone who knew her, even to strangers. A visitation will be held on Sunday March 23rd from 3-7 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday March 21st at 10:45 AM at St.Henry R.C. Church, 645 Avenue C in Bayonne with the family meeting at the funeral home beginning at 9:45 AM. Entombment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Woodbridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers Rita had requested that donations be made in her memory to The Assumption Soup Kitchen.
