. . KOCHANSKI Sr. Robert Anthony, 79, lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Saturday April 20th at his residence. Robert worked as the Director of Safety for the M.O.T.B.Y in Bayonne for many years and as a Longshoreman before retiring. He also proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War serving on the aircraft carrier USS Leyte, on the coast of Korea with the rank MM2 (Petty Officer 2nd class). Robert was a beloved husband to the late Joan (nee:Martin). A loving father to Robert Anthony Jr. and his wife Julianne, Glen Scott and his wife Erin, Karen Kochanski, Joan Kessler, and Linda Kochanski. Cherished grandfather to Jessica, Robert T., Matthew, Amber, and Kiley. Dear brother to Loretta Bonomo. He was also predeceased by his parents William and Jennie (nee:Pavlick) Kochanski, and his brothers William "Sonny", Harold, and Joseph. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd) Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Wednesday April 24th at 10:00am at St. Vincent's Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
