KOPCAK, Robert J., 76, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 25th at his residence. Robert worked as a Credit Manager for many years before retiring. Robert lived his life for his family and was especially very proud of his grandchildren, whom he enjoyed vacationing and boating with in Pennsylvania. He was involved in St. Vincent's Church, having served as an usher. He was also a proud recipient of The Silver Beaver Award given to him by the Boy Scouts, Troop 25. Robert was also very proud of graduating from St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth, and also attended Seton Hall University. Robert was a Beloved husband of 54 years to Frances (nee:Surdi), a loving father to Michael J., Elizabeth Ann Bilotta, and her husband Vito, and Karen Weeks and her husband Paul. A cherished grandfather to Gabrielle Bilotta, Mateja and Natasa Kopcak and Emily, Paul Jr., and Katherine Weeks. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 28th from 3:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Thursday May 29th at 10:30am at St. Vincent's Church, Bayonne, with family and friends gathering at the funeral home beginning at 9:30am. Cremation to follow will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's memory to The Bayonne Scout Endowment, 25 West 8th Street, Bayonne, NJ, 07002. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
