OCCIMIO , Robert "OX" Anthony,75, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 24th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Robert worked as a Fireman for the City of Bayonne for 28 years before retiring. Robert was a beloved husband to Elizabeth (nee: Matthes ), a loving father to Jeffrey (Cindy), Debbie , Barbara Michalski (Keith), Melissa Colletto (Matthew), Carol Grusz (Peter).  A cherished grandfather to Hayley, Samantha, Lillian, Jonathan, Michael, Jenny, Aiden , Joey, Katie, and Anthony. A dear brother to Tommy Occimio and his wife Maria, and Linda Mark and her husband the late Snaps. Robert was predeceased also by his parents Robert and Ellen (nee: McCurley ) Occimio .

Visitation will be held on Friday May 27th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A prayer service will be offered also on Friday at the Funeral Home at 7:30pm. Cremation to follow will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Envelopes provided at the funeral home.
