June 1, 1942 – January 15, 2025
Robert Bruce O'Hare – a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday January 15th 2025, he was 82. Robert worked as a mechanic for Best Foods in Bayonne NJ for 42 years before retiring. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and a member of the local Knights of Columbus as well as being the most wonderful Husband, Father , Grandfather and sibling anyone could ask for. He was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph & Marion (nee: Fleming) O'Hare and his siblings Joseph & Frank (Virginia) O'Hare & Barbara Gallagher (Gene). Surviving Robert is his devoted wife Mary Lee (nee: Rackley) O'Hare, his beloved son Robert William O'Hare (Dina) and his cherished grandchildren Cashmere, Brooklyn, Charlotte & Noah O'Hare. Also surviving Robert are his brother in law William Rackley (Vilma), his loving nieces/nephews Thomas Lee (Ruffa) & Samantha Rackley and to E.J. (Tammy) & Kevin Gallagher and Marion Trotola (Frank), as well as many other loving family members and dear friends. His visitation will be on Monday January 20th from 3-7PM at the Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Tuesday January 21st at St. Mary's Church in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home staring at 10AM. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
