Rosalie J. Kascik departed this life peacefully and ready for Heaven on 02/28/2025, after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family at her daughter's home in Pompton Lakes, NJ.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, her sister Sandra and her beloved grandson Demetrios James.
Rosalie was a devoted mother to Elyse Kascik of Pompton Lakes, NJ and Mary-Ellen Viglis, of Mechanicsville, Virginia. She was a loyal loving sister to Jennie Serafin & Mary Mizrak. She was an integral part of raising her oldest and beloved Grandson, Alexander Viglis of Chantilly, Virginia. He was her pride and joy. She is also survived by her loving niece Rachel and her nephews Peter & Carmen Serafin, along with countless other loved ones.
Rosalie was a devout Catholic and she put her daughter's first and foremost in every aspect of her life, right up until her last breath. She loved with every ounce of her being and made sure that Elyse & Mary-Ellen knew the unconditional love of a selfless, devoted Mother. She will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, and her love for family.
A visitation for Rosalie will be held on Sunday March 2nd from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd.(at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass for Rosalie will be celebrated at 11AM on Monday March 3rd at St. John Paul II Parish, 39 East 22nd Street in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10AM. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rosalie's memory to For The Love Of Dog Rescue, which can de done directly by clicking the "Memorial Donation" tab below this obituary.
