Rose N. Buccafusco (nee Coratti) - passed away peacefully on March 8, 2016 at Cusack Care Center in Jersey City. Born in Jersey City on October 7th 1923, Rose went to Synder High School and worked for Western Electric for many years before retiring. She married the late Dominick A. Buccafusco in 1945 and was the devoted mother of Rosanne Farrell, the late Jerry and wife Regina, John, and Dominick Jr. and wife, Sharon. Rose is the adored grandmother of Edward Farrell and wife Amy, Christopher, Jillian Duchensky and husband Joseph, Martin and wife Jessie Rae, Morgan, Adam and wife Jennifer, and Amy and was cherished great-grandmother of Augustus Long Buccafusco. Rose was also the dear sister of Nicola Coratti and the late Palmina Iacobucci, Angelina Tooker, and Anthony Coratti. Visitation will be Friday March 11th from 4-8 pm at Miglaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 12th, at 9:30 am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
