Rose Cocco (nee: Marafioti) - of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Saturday September 19, 2015, it was her 88th birthday. Born in Calabria, Italy, Rose was a very loving and caring woman who worked as a local beautician for many years and was an avid member of The OLM Seniors Club. She was the devoted wife to the late Anthony Cocco and beloved mother to Anthony and wife Carol, Denise Janiga and husband Joseph and Susan Varalla and husband Richard. Surviving Rose are her brother Gerald Marafioti and wife Marcella, her grandchildren; Joseph A. Janiga and wife Kate, Sienna Cocco, Matthew Janiga, Richard Varalla, Jaime Trama, Tracey McClafferty, Kylee Weldon, Jillian Rogers and Faith Licher as well as eight loving great-grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday September 24th from 4-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday September 25th beginning at 11 am at St. Vincent's Church, 979 Avenue C in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
