CONSOLAGIO, Rose (nee:Shanni), 89, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday April 16th, with her family by her side. Rose worked as an Office Clerk for Maidenform for many years before retiring, and then worked for the Bayonne Board of Education in the Food Service Department for over 10 years. She was the beloved wife to the late Gaetano "Guy", a loving mother to Michele Cappiello and her husband Robert, Annette Magee and her husband Bernard, and to Gail Tardi and her husband Mark. A cherished grandmother to Brandon Cappiello (Dana), Keith Cappiello (Kim), Dana Lester (James), Kyle Magee (Jacqueline), and to Ryleigh, Tyler and Shawn Tardi. A great grandmother to Connor, Brayden, Mackenzie, Nicholas Cappiello and to James Lester. Rose is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A dear sister to the late Angela and her husband, the late Ralph Greco. Rose was also predeceased by her parents Ralph and Mildred (nee: Passarelli) Shanni. Cremation was private. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne, on Friday April 19th from 9:00 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered also on Friday at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Rose's cremains will be buried at St. Peter's Cemetery, Staten Island, immediately following the mass.
