Solomita, Rose (nee: Minotto) - formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday February 5, 2013, she was 90. A woman regarded as incredibly kind to all who met her, Rose was the devoted wife of the late John Solomita and the loving mother to Judy Fimmano and her husband Frank, Carol Solomita and John Solomita and his wife Mary. Rose was also the cherished grandmother to Frank and Michael Fimmano and Daniel and David Solomita and his wife Nicolette. Rose was great grandmother to Melody Rose Solomita and is survived by her brother Joseph Minotto. Special thanks to Rose's main caregiver Barbara McAlmont and her sisters Ann & Joyce. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 10th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Monday February 11th at 11 AM at St. Vincent's Church, 979 Avenue C in Bayonne with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
