Rosemary Parlavecchio (nee: Novello) - a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday March 5th 2014, she was 71. Rosemary was a teacher and guidance counselor for the Bayonne School System for over 40 years, finishing her tenure at Bayonne High School. Rosemary was the devoted partner to Alan D'Angelo for many years and loving mother to Michael Parlavecchio and his wife Caryn. Rosemary was also the beloved grandmother to Ella and Rosie Parlavecchio and surviving her are her cherished nieces and nephews, Christina and Anthony Novello and Anne and Arvin Ajamian. Also surviving Rosemary are her sister Marilyn Ajamian and husband Arvin and brother Anthony Novello and wife Marianne. Visitation will be Saturday March 7th from 6-8 pm and again on Sunday March 8th from 2-6 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday March 9th at 11 am at St. Vincent's Church, 979 Avenue C in Bayonne with family and friends invited to meet at the funeral home beginning at 10am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
