Ruth Ann Elia (nee: Osborne) - of Bayonne passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday January 16th 2025, she was 83.  Born in Irvington, NJ,  Ruth was the devoted wife to Frank Elia, the beloved mother to Michael Elia (Tammy), Karen Matelesko (Paul) & Dina Elia (Ken Wallace), the cherished grandmother to Joseph Matelesko (Amy), Paulie Matelesko (fiance' Adrianna), Alex Marie Elia, Nicki Lynn Elia & Rachel Kobelski and the great grandmother to Joseph Salvatore Matelesko Jr.  Ruth was pre-deceased by her parents Lester & Ethel (nee: Longton) Osborne and surviving her are her siblings Gladys Glassen (the late Robert) & Butch Osborne (Loretta), her K9 companion Kodi and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation for Ruth will be held on Tuesday January 21st from 12-4PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne, with a prayer service to be celebrated towards the end of the visitation.  A private cremation will follow.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ruth's memory to The ASPCA, which can be directly by clicking the "Memorial Donation" tab below this obituary.
