MITCHELL, Ryan, O. 49, of Massachusetts, formerly of Bayonne passed away peacefully on the afternoon of August 30, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Highlander Hospice in Fall River, Massachusetts after a lengthy battle with Leukemia. Ryan was born on August 6, 1968 living in Bayonne most of his life, where he attended Bayonne's Grammar and High School. He was a member of the Bayonne Kidets and the Bayonne Bridgeman Drum and Bugle Corps. He was employed by Haddad Brands in Bayonne. After relocating to Green Brook, NJ, he was employed by Acme Supermarkets and Coilhose Pneumatics Inc, Middlesex County, where he worked until relocating to the State of Massachusetts where he then worked for Pizza Hut and various other establishments. Ryan was predeceased in death by his brother, Fred Mitchell Jr. and his step-father Daniel Sarnoski. Ryan is survived by his mother Mrs. Rosia (Belle) Mitchell Sarnoski of Green Brook, NJ., his daughters Tiara McClain of Newark, and Merissa Baker of Dunellen. Also survived by his niece Janelle Lee-Laurie of Bayonne, his aunt, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 6th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. An second visitation will be held on Thursday evening September 7th from 6:00 to 7:00pm at the Fountain Baptist Church, 116 Glenside Ave, Summit, NJ. 07901 followed by a Funeral service offered by Rev. J. Michael Sanders, Pastor, beginning at 7:00pm. Burial will be Friday September 8th at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ. Those wishing to attend the burial are asked to meet at the funeral home Friday at 10:00am.
