Salvatore M. Battaglia - a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday March 21st 2023, he was 81.  Salvatore graduated from Fairleigh Dickerson University and worked as an accountant for 38 years at AT&T and for 16 years at Putnam Publishing before his retirement.  He was also an avid NY Jets & Mets fan who loved his trips to the casino to play the slots.  He was the devoted husband to Theresa (nee: Daniello) Battaglia, the beloved father to Judith Ann Battaglia and to David Battaglia and his wife Jennie, and the cherished grandfather to Vincenzo & Nicholas Battaglia.  There will be a visitation for Salvatore held on Friday March 24th from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. in North Arlington, NJ.  In lieu of any flowers the family requests donations be made in Salvatore's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital through a direct link that can be found by clicking the "Memorial Donation" tab below this obituary.
