Salvatore Reo – a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully at Bayonne Medical Center on Tuesday March 12 ^th 2019, he was 84.  Salvatore was a business agent for Local Union 202 and he also worked for The City of Bayonne as a housing inspector for many years before retiring. He was a graduate of Oratory Prep in Summit, NJ and had attended St. Michaels College in Vermont. Salvatore was the devoted husband to the late Theresa Reo and more recently to the late Mary Reo.  He was the loving father to Rosemarie Bond (Eugene), Joanne Whitelaw (James), Sally Ann Pietracatella (John), Christopher Reo (Susan), Nina Gilson (Peter).  Salvatore was also the beloved grandfather to Jessica & Marie Pietracatella, Peter John & Tyler Gilson, Peter Bond (Jessica), and to Nicholas & Cole Whitelaw; as well as being the cherished great-grandfather to Delaney Bond.  Cremation and Services are private.
