Sarah Bilotta Polera - a resident of Bayonne, NJ for 69 years, passed away at Bayonne Medical Center on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 8:28 a.m. She was 84 years old. Born in San Vito, Calabria, Italy on September 10, 1932 to Rosa Maria Zurozolo and Joseph Bilotta who predeceased her. Sarah was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Augustus Mario Polera, her infant son, her sister Clara Gironda, her sisters-in-law Raffelina Notorangelo and Innocenza Gulli, and her brothers-in-law Vito Polera, Nick Notorangelo, Nunzio Coglitore, and Mario Gironda. She is survived by her three sons, Anthony, John & Augie Polera and their respective wives, Nan, Noreen & Maria, her grandchildren Thomas Gaber, Luke Anthony, Daniel, Christopher Augustus, Gabriela Marie and Jonathan Peter, her brother Benjamin Bilotta, her sisters-in-law Theresa Bilotta and Maria Coglitore, her brother-in-law Stefano Gulli, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday February 2nd from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne, NJ. A funeral and prayer service will be celebrated on Friday February 3rd from 10-11 AM at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ.
