Sophie (Helen) Greten aka "Honey" (nee: Lipinski) – 93, of Bayonne, formerly of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 20 ^th 2019.  Sophie was a loving woman always filled with joy and life.  She was an avid sports fan and a devotee of crime & detective stories.  Sophie was the devoted wife of the late William Greten and the loving mother to William Greten (Janice), Joseph Greten (Chris) and to Marie Altieri (James Supple). Sophie was also a beloved grandmother to Lisa (Nelson), Shana (Joe), Melissa (Steve), Bryan (Kristi), Mat (Katelynn) & Ashley; great-grandmother to Nelson Jr., Stephanie, William, Colette, Ethan & Noah and great-great-grandmother to Felix & Tristan. She was pre-deceased by her children James, Robert & Thomas Greten and Marilyn Greten-Kahle and her siblings Willy, Freddy, Betty & Jean and surviving Sophie is a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation will be Wednesday April 24 ^th from 3-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral prayer service will be celebrated on Thursday April 25 ^th at 10:45AM at the funeral home with all welcome to gather there starting at 10AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers please donate in Sophie's memory to St. Jude's Hospital with a link on her obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com
