Obituary

Stefano Gulli – of Bayonne passed away on Sunday January 10th 2021, he was 96. A quiet, kind, loving and  generous individual who was loved by many and respected by all.


Stefano was born in San Vito Calabria, Italy;  one of five children of the late Francesca (nee Lamberti) and the late Vito Gulli.  In Italy he sang and played multiple instruments with a music group. Following in the footsteps of his brother Francesco, Stefano was a professional barber. When he wasn't cutting hair or spending time with his family he could often be found with his nose in medical books. He was committed to living healthy.
Stefano was the devoted husband to his late wife Innocenza (nee Polera) for over 70 years. Together they moved from Italy to Canada before immigrating to Bayonne in 1960 and later became naturalized US citizens. A long standing parishioner of St.Vincent de Paul Church, Stefano was a devout Catholic
He is survived by his son Frank along with his wife Vanessa. H is son Anthony  predeceased him.
He also was the beloved grandfather to Anthony & Steven Gulli.
Cherished  memories will be shared by a host of other family members and dear friends both here and abroad.
Due to COVID-19 all services for Stefano are PRIVATE. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union , NJ.   In lieu of any flowers the family requests donations be made in Stefano 's memory to ST. VINCENT'S FOOD PANTRY,  979 AVENUE C, BAYONNE, NJ, 07002;
