Susan Patricia Humenic – of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning April 29 ^th 2018, at her home after a long illness. Susan worked at The Bayonne Public Library for 33 years where she was a supervisor.  She loved her job and was devoted to her patrons and to the community. Susan was a talented singer and had a passion for music and the arts. She is survived by her daughter Maya Chavez, her parents Jasmine and Thomas Hammond, her sisters and their husbands; Jasmine DeSanta (Dan), Nancy Fardhosseini (Reza), Roberta Connolly (Mike), Her former partner and longtime friend David Chavez and all her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Susan was much loved and will be greatly missed by her countless friends. Cremation was private, but a memorial service for Susan will be held at on Saturday May 5th from 2-6 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne, with a prayer service to be held between 4:30 - 5 PM during the visitation.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Susan's memory to The American Heart Association with envelopes provided at the funeral home or with a link found on her obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com .
