Teresa Annetta (nee: Sclafane) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday November 21st 2024, she was 97. Teresa was born and raised in Bayonne NJ on Christmas Eve at her home in 1926. She was the 10th child of 14 children to Anna Guardino and Louis (Sclafani) Sclafane who came to America in 1903 from Sciacca Sicily. Teresa loved her family, her country, living in Bayonne and was a proud member of The Rosary Society for St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Bayonne. Teresa lived 96 years in Bayonne, until the last two when she moved to Palm Beach Gardens FL to live near her daughter. She enjoyed her many visiting family members, the sunshine and the palm trees; she was loved by all and will be missed by many. Teresa was the devoted wife to the late Joseph Vincent Annetta, who was the love of her life and died on July 17th 1957, leaving her a widow at 30 years old to raise her two young children. She was the beloved mother to Karen Dickson and her favorite son-in-law Maurice of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and to David Joseph Annetta and her favorite daughter in law Linda (nee: Jahara) from Iselin, New Jersey. Teresa was also the cherished grandmother to Gia Riccobono and her husband John, and David J. Annetta Jr. and his wife Anna and to Eric Dickson and his fiance Wendy Kays of Miami Beach FL, Richard Dickson and Dana from Pacific Palisades CA, ; as well as being the great grandmother to Valentina Teresa & John Riccobono, and to Vienna Rose Annetta and to Jonah and Ely Dickson. Teresa was predeceased by her siblings Mary (nee: Sclafane) Barsalona, Joseph Sclafane, Marie (Tootsie) Algeria, Frank Sclafane, Veronica (nee: Sclafane) Guardino, Charles (Charlie) Sclafanne, Florence (Dolly) Jadach, Dorothy Jane Sclafane, Louise (nee: Sclafane) Romanowski, Regina "Jean" (nee: Sclafane) Morkevich & Leonard "Leo" Sclafane; and surviving her is her brother Louis Sclafane, her sister Annette Collins and brother-in-law Dennis G. Collins all of Bayonne NJ, as well as 39 nieces & nephews that she loved like a mother and many more grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visitation for Teresa will be held on Tuesday December 3rd from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday December 4th at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, 326 Avenue C in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
