IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Theresa
Koepke
December 8, 1966 – January 7, 2024
Theresa Marie (Ostroski) Koepke, aged 57, of Bayonne, NJ passed away peacefully alongside her loved ones on Sunday, January 7th, 2024. Theresa was a Drake Secretarial College graduate and made a career as a dental hygienist for Dr. Robert Angelica, with whom she was employed for over 10 years before giving birth to her daughter. Theresa was an avid parishioner to Our Lady of Assumption/Saint John Paul II, providing 40 years of service as a catechist. Theresa was also a beloved member of the Associates of Saint Lucy Filippini where for 36 years she followed their mission of prayer and a deepening relationship with God, community with other associates, and volunteer work through caring for the local community. As a mother, Theresa was active in her daughter's parent teacher organizations and volunteered frequently to assist in fundraising efforts for her daughter's extracurriculars.
Theresa was known to all who loved her as a bright and bubbly soul. Theresa had a love for country music as well as line dancing. Theresa's favorite city was Nashville, Tennessee where she got to enjoy authentic line dancing to the country music she loved so dearly. Though not entirely knowledgeable on the sport, Theresa's favorite football team was the Chicago Bears, primarily due to her love for bears.
Theresa is survived by her parents Edward and Rose (Esposito) Ostroski, brothers Edward and Donald Ostroski, their wives Connie and Cristina, her daughter and her daughter's fiancé, Kathryn Rose and Joseph Figliuzzi, her nephews Justin Vincent and Donald Cristian, niece Daniela Cristina, her uncle Neil Esposito, aunts Emily Esposito and Victoria Neaher, and great aunt Joan Serpe, as well as many loving cousins and friends.
