Thomas George "Oldie" McCann Sr of Randolph, NJ formerly of Bayonne, NJ passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2023. He was born in Jersey City, NJ to John and Dorothy McCann.

Survived by his wife and the love of his life, Rosalie of 44 years. He is also survived by his children Thomas Jr and his wife Barbara and Tanya and her wife Jessica. He leaves behind his four grandchildren Isabella, Caleb, Gavin and Greyson. As well as his Grand-dogs Maris, Lennon, Molly, Jameson, Daisey and Cooper. He was also adored and loved by his sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces and nephews and many friends he made along the way.

He loved spending time with his kids and grand children. They were his pride and joy. No matter how he felt physically, he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.  He loved playing bingo and watching sports, especially the New York Mets.

To know him was to be in the presence of a great man with an unmatched sense of humor. He never missed a chance to say something funny. If there was ever a time to NOT make a joke, he found a way to do it, to the very end.

Tom opened his heart to everyone. His home was always filled with his kids friends. He treated each and everyone of them like his own. He spent many years at Bayonne little league coaching and umpiring. Anytime he saw a former player, he lit up and would remind them how great they were.

He was a proud Vietnam veteran, serving his country from 1964-1967 and he worked for the United States postal service for 37 years.

Tom was a great man, and he will be missed by all who knew him. The family asks that you remember all the great times with him and share those memories forever.

There will be a visitation for and celebration of Tom from 4-8PM on Wednesday, November 1st 2023 at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Boulevard Bayonne (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.

A private cremation will follow.
