Tommaso Scarfone - of Avon-by-the-Sea, formerly of Bayonne passed away Tuesday October 19th 2021, he was 83.  Born in Marcellinara, Italy,  Tommaso, with his family, migrated from Italy to Canada in 1953 and to the United States in 1960. Tommaso was an avid card player and animal lover who also held a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from NJIT.  He is a retired engineer who is the former Vice-President of MFG for Carlyle Compressor Division of Carrier Corporation at United Technologies.  Tommaso was the devoted brother to Giselle Scarfone-Sanzone and husband Vincent Sanzone, Frank Scarfone and wife Iris and sister-in-law Gail Scarfone.  He is also survived by his nieces & nephews; Ronald, Charlene, Marc & Alissa and his canine companion Gracie.  Tomasso was pre-deceased by his parents Antonio & Ida (nee: Aloi) Scarfone and brother Ralph. Visitation is Monday October 25th from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd . (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Tuesday October 26th at St. John Paul II Parish, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10AM.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in N.
