Toni Elena
Scrudato
July 16, 1970 – May 23, 2026
Toni Scrudato, age 55, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on May 23rd, 2026. She was born on July 16th, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York, and later made Bayonne her home.
Toni was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and a presence that filled every room she walked into. She was funny, loud, sarcastic, deeply caring, and unapologetically herself in every way. There was no such thing as knowing her only a little. If you knew her, you knew her.
Toni was reunited in peace with her late mother, Lorraine Anthoni Licitra.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Lawrence Scrudato, whom she lovingly called “Punie,” and her cherished children Zoey (“BooBoo”), Anthony (“MyBoy”), and Nicole (“Midgee”) Scrudato, as well as her son-in-law, Matthew. She leaves behind her father, Ronald Susi, and her sister, Claudia Susi. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Priscilla, her father-in-law Lorenzo, and her mother-in-law Kathleen, as well as her brother-in-law, Uncle Marc.
Toni was constantly talking, whether to family, friends, or anyone who happened to be nearby long enough. She had a natural way of connecting with people and could turn even a quick interaction into a full conversation. She loved to joke, tease, and speak her mind without hesitation, but behind her sarcasm was someone who cared deeply for the people she loved, and was always there when they needed her.
In her final moments, Toni was surrounded by the love and support of her family. They stayed closely by her side throughout a difficult time. Her children and husband remained ever-present, showing up for her in the way that she always showed up for them—fully and without hesitation.
Toni will be remembered for her humor, her voice, her sharp sarcasm, and the way she made everyday life feel a little louder, a little funnier, and a lot more real. Her love for her family was constant, even in the smallest moments, and her presence will continue to be deeply felt by those who knew her best.
Her memory lives on through her family and everyone who loved her.
