Tsevi Gabriel Vovor passed away suddenly on May 29, 2022, at the age of 56. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Although he was taken from this world far too soon, his memory will live on in the lasting impact he made on every person he encountered.

Tsevi was larger than life. He had many death-defying moments and close calls in his time, which made him seem like a man with exceptional luck that could escape anything. These experiences shaped him into the wise and brilliant man we all knew and loved, one with a kind smile and a beautiful heart.

Tsevi's main passion was education. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at École Polytechnique de Thiès in Senegal; he also received his Master's in Mechanical Engineering and his Ph.D. in Engineering Mathematics at Polytechnique Montréal. He went on to work in various positions in the financial industry and ultimately worked in Structured Capital Markets at HSBC for over 17 years. There, he stood out with his profound intelligence, patience, and dedication to his work and his teams.

Tsevi is survived by his wife Lina Adjo, his children Kate and Dave, his brother Atsu, his sister Essivi, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends. A viewing in honor of his life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 3:00 to 7:00pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home ( 851 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne, New Jersey ).
