CASTELLACCIO, Umberto, 87, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday November 5th. Umberto was born in Forio d'Ischia, Ischia, Italy and left behind his family at a young age to pursue the "American Dream".  Umberto was a very spiritual and dedicated catholic who often listened to daily mass in Italian on the radio.  He owned and operated the Capri Restaurant in New York City and managed many different restaurants until he retired at age 86.  Umberto served the Lord by serving others.  Having the honor to have met or known Umberto was a unique blessing.  Umberto was a beloved husband to the late Mary (nee:Passero), a loving father to Vito and his wife Janet and to Maryann and her husband Bob. A cherished grandfather to Christina, Elizabeth, Danielle and Alexandra. He is also survived by his loving and caring friend Genoveva Martinez. Umberto was predeceased by his parents Vito Antonio and Anna Maria Castellaccio.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday November 11th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Wednesday morning beginning at 9:45am. In lieu of flowers donations in Umberto's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, with a link on our website, and envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. Umberto, your work is finished may you rest in peace and love of God.
