HASCHAK, Violette A. (nee:Smith) 92, of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday March 26th surrounded by her loving family. Violette worked as a secretary for Woodward Kitchens in Bayonne before retiring. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who also enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City, playing bingo and loved spending time at her summer home in Bayville, NJ. Violette was a beloved wife to the late George, a loving mother to David Haschak and his fiancé Barbara Silva, and to Deborah Durak and her husband Peter. A cherished grandmother to Matthew Durak and his wife Shannon, Alyssa Durak and her partner Michael Torrent, and to Danielle Santana and her husband Henry. A beloved great grandmother to Ava and Jaxson Durak and Arya, Brooklynn, and Ciana Santana. Violette was also predeceased by her parents Charles and Violette (nee: Martin) Smith, and her sister Ruth Ouchi.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 30th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday March 31st at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Tuesday morning beginning 9:45am, prior to mass. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
