Macaluso (nee: Iozzo), Vitina - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday October 31st 2013, she was 88 years old. Born in Cardinale Italy, Vitina was the devoted wife to Dominick Macaluso and the loving mother to Linda Lombardo and her husband Dr. Sabato, Rita Esper and her husband George and to Joe Macaluso. Vitina was also the cherished grandmother to Michael & Christie Lombardo and Michael's wife Kathy and to Jessica & Christopher Esper. Vitina is survived by her sister Catherine Signoretta and was pre-deceased by her sister Jennie Mugrace. A visitation will be held on Sunday November 3rd from 3-7 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday November 4th with a funeral mass at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne beginning at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Vitina's memory to The Alzheimer's Association of America.
