1961 and Forward

Bill eventually expanded the building and the business in 1961 and he and Millie became active citizens in Bayonne, joining, among others, the Rotary Club, UNICO, The Sons of Italy and Bill even became The Exalted Ruler of The Elks Club before his untimely passing in 1968 at the age of 56.

Filomena passed only 3 months after her son William and the business affairs were continued by William's wife Mildred. "Millie" ran the business until their daughter Carol was licensed and came on board as Manager in 1976.

Carol Ann continued on as Manager and Millie kept up her involvement in the business until right until her passing in 2002. Before that however, she was honored as the first woman ever to be named as "Person of the Year" by The Sicilian American Club.
