General Price List

While all funeral homes will essentially provide the same services, you may find that prices will vary from establishment to establishment, from state to state and even from county to county, much as they do in the hotel industry. And, as in the hotel industry, the consumer can expect to pay more for an overnight stay at a Four Seasons Hotel as opposed to what they would pay for an overnight stay at a Motel 6. Both provide the same essential service, but with many differences. Every 2 years, the State of New Jersey Funeral Directors Association publishes a survey of average funeral home prices in the State of New Jersey. A copy of those survey results is below:

We sometimes hear rumors that we here at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services have a reputation for being very expensive, but that’s simply untrue. In fact, if you compare our prices to the Statewide averages shown in the survey, we have a lower price point in almost every category (although I’ll be the first to admit, that it is very costly to die these days). Also, we are well aware that as a funeral shopper in our community, you are afforded many options for your business. With that in mind, we keep track of the local market and we keep our prices and packages competitive. We may not be the cheapest, but we’re certainly not the most expensive, and, as always, we make sure that the services we provide AND the establishment we welcome you into remain the finest in the area.

We appreciate your interest in our facility and we welcome you to compare our General Price List below with that of the competition. Remember - Federal Law mandates that all funeral homes MUST provide you with a copy of their General Price List upon request and that price list must apply to everyone. Please know that we will work with each and every one of our families, to make sure that they are able to create and afford the services they desire, and we offer 30-day grace periods on most all funerals (except those SSI-funded). Call us, we're here to help.
